Ayobayo Babade is a lawyer, real estate broker, dispute resolution professional and agro-business consultant with extensive experience in real estate Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution. He recently completed the Global Business Course at the Harvard Business School, Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

He obtained his LL.B from the University of Lagos and his B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, Abuja Campus in 2011 and 2012 respectively. He equally holds a B.Sc in Peace Studies & Conflict Resolution from the National Open University of Nigeria (N.O.U.N.) where he matriculated with the former Nigerian President, General Olusegun Obasanjo.

He holds a Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Innovation Management from the Nesburg School of Business & Management (NSMB; a South African-based academic institution). He equally holds an M.Sc. in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from the National Open University of Nigeria where he researched effective and lasting solutions to land-based disputes between indigenes and settlers in Nigeria as well as his LL.M from the University of Lagos where he researched protecting the rights of host communities in the power sector most especially, their land rights.

Ayobayo Babade had a brief stint with the firm of Okonjo, Odiawa and Ebie (Legal Practitioners & Trademark agents) before joining Perchstone & Graeys Law Firm (Legal Practitioners, Arbitrators and Consultants) in 2012. He thereafter went to Auspicious Bloom Chambers as a Senior Associate and Head of the Legal Aid Team of the Firm before becoming a Partner at Solusyon LP.

He currently works with Tope Babade & Co (Real Estate Consultants) where he heads the Legal Advisory and Operations Arm of the firm. He is currently a consultant to over ten (10) top real estate companies in Nigeria. He has been involved in a number of high-net-worth real estate transactions and has advised clients both within and outside Nigeria. He has delivered a number of lectures and papers on real estate and law to various audiences across Nigeria and the United States of America.

He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK; Nigeria Branch), a Jerusalem Pilgrim (member of the 2015 Nigerian Youth Pilgrimage to Israel Programme), a member of the West African Bar Association (W.A.B.A.), a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (Lagos Branch), the Lagos State Public Relations Officer of the Association of Estate Agents in Nigeria (AEAN; Lagos Branch) established under the Auspices of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors & Valuers (NIESV) and the Assistant Secretary of the In-House and Government Counsel Forum Council of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Lagos Branch.

He is the recipient of several awards including Young Real Estate Lawyer of the Year (2017, Teras Realtors & Homes Limited); Agro-Loving Lawyer of the Year (2017, Transfurd Commercial Farms), Special (Real Estate) Recognition Award (2018, Franabid Global Resources Limited), Golden Role Model Award by the Nigerian Youth Advocacy for Good Governance Initiative (NYAGGI) in April 2022.

Ayobayo was made a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultant (FIMC) in 2019 in recognition of his activities in the Real Estate Sector.
